Freelance Lecturer in German as a Foreign Language - BSBI Hamburg

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, delivery, and follow-up of German language classes
  • Collaboration with co-teachers and the Head of the Language Department
  • Administration and grading of tests and final examinations
  • Management of course-related administrative tasks

Your profile

Required Qualifications

  • Completed university degree, preferably in German as a Foreign Language (DaF), German Teaching/Education, German Studies, or a linguistics-related field, combined with an additional DaF qualification or methodological and pedagogical training for teaching German (e.g., BAMF supplementary qualification)
Compensation: €30 per hour
  • Native-level proficiency in German
  • Proven, several years of teaching experience in the field of German as a Foreign Language (DaF)
  • Flexibility, sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, commitment, team spirit, and intercultural competence
  • Strong customer service and client-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to teach 1 to 3 on-site courses, each consisting of 4 to 6 teaching hours per week
  • Willingness to teach on Saturdays
